Crane House is available to researchers and members of local voluntary and community groups to use on a casual basis or on short-term licences

• We have a small library, areas suitable for meetings, and an open plan office space with desks, fax, photocopiers etc.
  
• There are tea or coffee making facilities
• Visitor car parking is available on site (though this is limited)

Using a desk
People who would like to use our facilities are asked to make a donation to Centris if possible based on the following scale -

• £5 for up to half day then
• £10 for one day
• £50 for one week
• £150 for one month.

Periods longer than those above will normally be contracted and a formal hire agreement or licence entered into.

Using space for meetings

To use our meeting spaces on the ground floor for small meetings/interviews costs £10 per hour for either the "boardroom style" area or the "informal" meeting area.

If both areas are needed then it costs £20 per hour. The charge includes tea and coffee when required.

Any additionals - eg providing refreshments other than basic tea and coffee or supplying a new flipchart would be added to the basic hire price on an individual basis.

As the office is not usually opened at weekends any usage at weekends would attract an additional premium of £50 per day.
